RequestFlowering rock roses and evergreen maquis, red poppies and yellow broom, white beaches and grandiose mountain landscapes, gnarled oaks and mysterious places, colorful festivals and lovable people. A journey for connoisseurs! The second largest island in the Mediterranean can almost be equated to a micro-continent due to its scenic diversity and its most impressive coastal landscapes are located in the northwest of the island. The bizarre granite formations around Capo Testa in the north and the spectacular headland of Capo Caccia with its steep cliffs in the west are just two of the highlights that await us on this trip. In addition to the relaxed landscape photography, exciting places and a colorful and lively festival in honor of St. Ephisius also await us, where we can work out a dynamic travel reportage with people and folklore with the experienced tourism and travel photographer Franz Gerdl.

Special notes
From a photographic perspective, this trip will be an exciting mix of vivid reportage and enjoyable landscape photography.
Relaxed and with plenty of time, we will photograph, for example, the imposing granite landscapes in the north of the island or the scenic and at this time blooming coastal landscape in the west. Not to forget the very interesting excursion to the plateau Giarra di Gesturri, where with a little luck we will also meet wild horses living in the wild in the shade of ancient holm oaks.
In the attractive larger and smaller towns and cities such as Alghero or Bosa, we want to devote ourselves to street and available light photography and try to work out a colorful travel portfolio of urban landscapes.
Last but not least, the colorful and opulent Sant Efisio festival in Cagliari will give us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the different techniques of dynamic reportage photography of a festival.
